Pace of Play
An unimpeded foursome is expected to play 18 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes, or less. If the course is not busy, please allow faster players to play through as soon as you notice them. If the course is busy, your proper place is directly behind the group in front of you. You are expected to keep the interval between your group and the group in front of you the same as when you teed off. Consult the pro shop if you aren’t sure what to do.
Golf Carts
Only drive golf carts through the rough to get from the cart path to the fairway. Park with all four tires on the cart path at all times. Avoid low, stressed or wet areas on the fairways. Keep carts off all par three holes as well as hole #2. Keep carts out of natural areas. To drive a golf cart, you must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Ball Marks, Divots and Bunkers
Fix your ball marks plus any other ball marks you see on the greens. Fill all divots with sand which is provided on each golf cart. Do not enter or exit bunkers by climbing up or down a steep face (bunker bank). Bunker bank turf is some of the most sensitive on the golf course. Rake bunkers after use and leave the rakes outside of the bunkers.
Lightning Detection System
A lightning detection system has been installed for your safety. When the lightning is detected the system will sound one long blast, all players must immediately cease play and return directly to the clubhouse. When is safe to return to the course the system will sound three short blasts. Enforcement of this policy is zero tolerance in nature as it is critical to reduce the club's liability. Anyone who disregards the lightning detection system will be subject to disciplinary action.
Music
Music on the course is allowed. Please be courteous to your playing partners as well as other golfers as the golf course is compact with many adjacent tees, fairways and greens.
