Areas of the Club
The club is segregated into three defined areas.  The Golf Area includes the course, putting greens, driving range and the short game area.  Clubhouse Area includes the clubhouse, veranda, patio, and event lawn.  The Pool Area includes the pool areas inside the fence.

Golf Area Dress Code
Men may wear collared shirts and shirts are to remain tucked in at all times. Shirts designed to be un-tucked are not to be worn in the golf areas.  Men may wear shorts or long pants designed to be worn with a belt.  Gym shorts and cut offs are not allowed. Proper footwear includes golf shoes (soft spikes only) and soft soled shoes that cover the entire foot.  Sandals or flip flops, even if designed for golf, are not considered appropriate footwear.  Children must adhere to the dress code.

Clubhouse Area Dress Code
Men may wear collared shirts and shirts are to remain tucked in at all times.  Other collared shirts designed to be un-tucked (e.g. Island or Camp shirts, hemmed at the waist) are appropriate.  Men may wear shorts or long pants designed to be worn with a belt.  Denim is not allowed anywhere on the property except as noted for special denim friendly events (e.g. Oyster Roast). T-shirts, pool cover-ups, cut-offs, flip-flops, and bare-feet are not allowed in the clubhouse area.  Children must adhere to the dress code.

Bathing Attire
Bathing attire is only appropriate in the Pool area.  Bathing attire, covered or uncovered, is not permitted in the Golf or Clubhouse area.  The event lawn and patio are considered part of the Clubhouse area and bathing attire is not permitted unless the dress code is specifically modified for outdoor dining events such as the summer holiday cookouts.

Denim
Denim is not allowed anywhere at Carolina Golf Club except as noted for special denim friendly events (e.g. Oyster Roast).  Management will use a use common sense approach when enforcing this policy.  If your guest unexpectedly shows up at the club wearing denim, he or she will not be refused service.  However, the host member will be notified about the policy violation.  Multiple offenses will result in further disciplinary action.
